Maria Teresa “Pinky” Ruiz

Pinky has extensive experience in Organization Development with focus on HR Strategy Development, Organization Structuring and Change Management, HR Systems Development, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Leadership Development. She has also managed other corporate functions such as Strategic Planning, Corporate Communications, as well as Government Relations.

Her expertise was deepened over thirty years as a senior executive in several local and multinational companies  (PLDT, Coca Cola Bottlers, Cemex, Zuellig Pharma, Wyeth Pharma, Ayala Land, and SM Retail). The exposure to various types of business models provides a flexibility that has made her known in the HR profession for developing HR systems that are aligned to global best practices but which are adapted for a company’s unique business challenges in its industry context.

In the field of Leadership Development, she was the only SouthEast Asian to be part of the Advisory Board for an Asia Pacific Conference on Leadership Development managed by the Conference Board of New York. She was also the first Filipino to be given an HR Leadership Award by the Employer Branding Institute.  She has presented original working models for Leadership Development as well as Performance and Change Management that were well received at various HR Conferences (5 International and 6 local fora.)
